We are currently recruiting a part-time/casual bookkeeper who can help keep our financial ship sailing smoothly. If you?re the type who dreams of spreadsheets and finds joy in reconciling accounts, then you might just be our number-crunching hero. *About us:* We are a boutique law firm with a focus on intellectual property, business law, and estate planning and administration. We pride ourselves on providing quality services to our growing roster of clients and are looking for someone who will fit in with our small, collegial team of professionals. *What you can expect: * You will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization: · Maintaining and reconciling bank and credit card accounts · Accounts payable · Post expenses and journal entries · Preparation of month-end and year-end reports · Provide support during tax season by gathering necessary documentation and assisting with filings · Collaborate with colleagues on various financial projects and initiatives · Other duties as required and dependent on previous experience · 5-10 hours/week, Monday to Friday (exact days and times flexible) *What you need to qualify:* · 2+ years? bookkeeping experience · Proficiency with Quickbooks Online · Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices · Attention to detail and organizational skills · Ability to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner · Ability to work independently and within a team environment *What we have to offer:* · Competitive compensation which is dependent on individual experience · A fun, collegial atmosphere If you are interested in joining our team, please send your resume in confidence to kayla@anovalawgroup.com.
