Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Assemble prefabricated parts. Assemble small and large household electrical appliances. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Assemble circuit breakers, switches or other electrical control equipment and position and fasten components into assembly casings. Read blueprints and electrical schematics. Set up assembly line with materials and supplies required for production. Check products for visual defects and faulty electrical and mechanical connections. Perform minor repairs to items rejected from production line. Utilize hand and power tools. Assemble or connect electrical components. Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools. Area of work experience: Assembly line. Wiring. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Sitting. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication.
