Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Wet/damp. Plan, direct and supervise or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries of properties. Record all measurements and other information obtained during survey activities. Analyze, manage and display data using geographic information systems and computer-aided design and drafting. Determine precise locations using electronic distance measuring equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by federal, provincial or territorial authorities. Field skills experience: Operate survey equipment. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Survey specialization: Construction. Engineering. General urban. Law. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines.
