Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Hair styling/stylist and hair design. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Advise clients on beauty care treatments. Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Shampoo customers' hair. Shave and trim beards and mustaches. Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Hair colouring techniques: Dyes/tints. Frosting. Streaking/highlights. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Reliability. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
