Support the Production Operations Manager in monitoring and improving plant productivity.Core Functions:Cultivate a safety culture where unsafe acts are not tolerated and employees and management have a common goal of zero injuries.Oversee Refinery activities to ensure operations are running at the highest levels of efficiency.Ensure Refinery department is compliant with sanitation requirements. May provide support in the monthly sanitation inspections and implementation of any corrective actions as necessary.Track and report Refinery productivity improvements.Approve daily reports and KPRs for the Refinery department. Report and trouble shoot operations issues.Provide input to the Mgr-Production Operations and/or Plant Manager to plan annual shutdowns.Support Process Safety Management programs.Work with the Safety/Environmental Manager to ensure compliance of Refinery in all aspects.Help develop and drive Operations Excellence Plans to meet safety, quality and production goals and show continuous improvement in the Refinery department.Support the continuous improvement activities and act as a change agent for any changes that occur in the Refinery department.Monitor KPR s and help develop plans to bring the Refinery in line with Operations Excellence goals.Participate in the daily production meetings to remain informed and ensure that the assigned shift operations activities are aligned.Participate in personnel investigations and recommend corrective actions as necessary.Demonstrate the following core values and guiding behaviors which are expected of all employees at Bunge North America: Act as One Teamby fostering inclusion, teamwork and respect; Aim for Excellenceby being agile, innovative and efficient; and Do What s Rightby acting safely, ethically and sustainably.To maintain all aspects of the quality and food/feed safety system such as QMS, HACCP, GMP and other BNA systems.Perform other duties as assigned.Skill/Experience Requirements:5+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and years of experience) in oil refining or related and applicable activities.3rd Class Power Engineering Certification required.Technical Diploma or Bachelor s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word and other technical software packages, as needed.Ability to work on call, weekends and rotating shift schedule requiredWork Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift (48 hour week/36 hour week)Total Rewards:Work with industry leaderRelocation assistance and support availableHealth, dental, vison & life benefits after 30 days of employmentGenerous paid time off policyPension Plan#LI-SC1Bunge (NYSE: BG) is a world leader in sourcing, processing and supplying oilseed and grain products and ingredients.
