Clean and lubricate cranes. Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures. Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines. Perform routine maintenance work. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Confined Space Entry Training. Type of cranes: Climbing crane, fixed or limited mobility. Conventional cable crane, wheeled. Pile driver. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Sitting. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Excellent oral communication.
