Programs dealing with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Implement life skills workshops. Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community. Housekeeping activities. Food preparation. Resolve conflict situations. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Accompany clients to appointments and social outings. Offer mentoring. Supervision: No supervision responsibility. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Developmental services worker¿(DSW)¿Training. Emergency child care first aid and CPR. Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate. Cultural Awareness Training. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail. MS Office. Area of work experience: Community service organization. Security and safety: Criminal record check.
