Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Type of trucking and equipment: Hydrovac. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication.
