Job details
Galbraith Counselling and Therapy is looking to add motivated clinicians to our team. We are a growing practice located close to the 401 and 402 and servicing clients in London and the surrounding area.
Galbraith Counselling and Therapy provides services addressing a variety of concerns from a trauma-informed perspective.
We are looking for a part-time therapist (with the potential to move into full-time) who will contribute to our collaborative environment with an interest in growing and developing their practice. The successful candidate will be a mental health clinician with experience and interest in working with issues such as relationship concerns, anxiety and panic disorder, depression, and PTSD. Specific training in EMDR will be considered an asset. You will be willing and capable to work in-person and virtually as necessary.

*The ideal candidate will be someone who:*
· is a trauma-informed registered social worker or psychotherapist who can provide flexible and effective therapy to a variety of clients, both individuals and couples
· is willing to work at least 10-15+ hours/week with flexibility for evenings and weekends as an independent contractor
· values communication and connection within a growing team of therapists
· is oriented towards ongoing professional development and growth, incorporating neuroscience and experiential knowledge into your practice
· maintains adherence to your code of ethics and standards of practice
· is willing to grow your own referral network along with the referrals provided
· participates in regular supervision and consultation
*Qualifications:*
· Master?s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology or other relevant field of study, with current registration and liability insurance
· Proficiency with EMDR is considered an asset
· 1-3yrs of clinical experience (new grads may be considered)
· Has training and experience working with couples and individuals
