Job details
Assist in planning and implementation of summer programs, including mentoring youth, facilitating programs, providing transportation, and fundraising as designated. Also, assist with some long-term planning for ongoing/mentoring programs. Qualifications: You must be 16 years of age or older and currently a full-time student. You must also attend secondary or post-secondary education in the fall of 2024, preferably in the human sciences, education, or health and fitness.Knowledge and Required Skills:Interact in a positive, supportive manner with youthPossess excellent organizational and time management skillsGood oral and written communication skillsGood computer skills requiredBe available to work some weekends and flexible hoursBe able to follow directionHave the ability to work in an unsupervised settingHighly motivated and energeticValid Driver's license and good driving abstract1st Aid and CPR training an asset.This position is an 8 to 12-week position dependent on funding through Canada Summer Jobs. Training will be provided, including child Safety Training and Facilitation Training.
