The successful candidate will work within the<p>Human Resource Services Department to provide administrative support and<p>accurate information to new and existing employees, school administrators,<p>management teams, HR officers and various department teams of the board with a<p>high level of initiative, professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentiality. This<p>includes but is not limited to ensuring, verifying, and maintaining employee<p>documentation and data entry is accurate through the recruitment, orientation,<p>seniority, experience, salary, leaves, and auditing processes. This also includes supporting human<p>resource initiatives, records and processes regarding annual employee<p>requirements, labour relations, and grievances. This position requires<p>professionalism, diplomacy, confidentiality, and the ability to work both<p>independently and as a team member.<p>Qualifications,<p>Pertinent Skills and Experience: <p> <p>Three (3) year College diploma<p>in Human Resources, Business or a related equivalent combination of education<p>and experience. University degree in Human Resource Management would be<p>preferable;<p> <p>Three (3) years administrative<p>experience, preferably in an educational setting or a large, complex, unionized<p>human resources environment; <p> <p>Excellent computer skills<p>including experience with data management systems, Google Docs, Office 365, and<p>MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and OneDrive);<p> <p>Knowledge of IPPS.net or<p>similar HRIS would be a definite asset;<p> <p>Strong written and verbal<p>communication skills;<p> <p>Excellent analytical, problem<p>solving, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills;<p> <p>Ability to prioritize and work<p>in a multifunctional environment with competing priorities;<p> <p>Ability to work independently<p>and as part of a team;<p> <p>Ability to work with issues of<p>a sensitive and confidential nature;<p> <p>HRPA designation would be an<p>asset.<p>Duties: <p> <p>Process retirements and<p>resignations into the retirement database, and data entry into IPPS.net;<p> <p>Coordination of the annual performance<p>appraisal process, including sending out notification to managers, supervisors,<p>administrators, and employees; tracking of performance documents throughout the<p>year and the collection of documents at the end of the performance year; <p> <p>Coordination of the process for<p>all teacher performance appra
