Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures. Perform routine maintenance work. Maintain accurate records. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Mobile Crane Operator Trade Certification. Transportation/travel information: Driver's abstract. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Hardworking. Excellent written communication.
