Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Office. Tasks: Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents. Receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries. Work on reports from manual or electronic files, inventories and databases. Sort, process and verify applications, receipts and other documents. Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically. Send and receive messages. Provide general information to clients and the public. Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing. Order office supplies and maintain inventory. Perform data entry. Provide customer service. Label, file and retrieve documents. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youths. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Support for mature workers: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for mature workers .
