Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work setting: Machinery installation. Maintenance. Service. Repair. Overhaul. Machine set-up. Tasks: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation). Installing machinery and equipment. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
