Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians. Help with scheduling and workflow. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate, enter client information in databases and prepare medications for clients. Help patients complete menus. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Assist dietitians with research in food, nutrition and food service systems. Clean and restore ocular prostheses. Interpret physician's specification. Advise patients on loss of depth perception. Make and modify plaster casts. Repair and maintain fabrication and laboratory equipment. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. 3-4 people. Security and safety: Criminal record check.
