Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Maintain filing system. Record and prepare minutes of court sessions, meetings or conferences. Train and supervise staff. Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information. Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents. Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage. Supervision: 3-4 people. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word. MS Office. MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Large caseload. Personal suitability: Accurate.
