Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Tasks: Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures. Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety. Troubleshoot aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures. Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems. Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports. Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AME «S» Licence - Structures. Structural repair experience - aircraft: Aircraft structures - general. Aircraft composite structures. Type of industry experience: Aircraft manufacturing. Commercial air carrier. Repair and overhaul facility. Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization: Aircraft maintenance - general. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Drug test.
