Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Clean bar area and wash glassware. Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment for beverages. Record and balance beverage sales. Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations. Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons. Experience: Experience an asset. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youths. Support for Veterans: Supports Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market . Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers . Support for mature workers: Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination .
