*Payroll & HR Administrator*
Are you a dynamic, detail oriented and friendly office professional? Do you have a passion for maintaining a high level of employee engagement, payroll accuracy and a keen interest in various human resources topics? If so, Trout River Industries is looking for you to become part of its dedicated team.
We are looking for a Payroll & HR Administrator, who will be responsible for maintaining adherence to accurate payroll and benefits administration, and local human resources support.
*Hours:*
* Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 42.5-hour work week.
* Must be able to commute between Coleman and Bloomfield locations.
*Responsibilities *
* Prepare weekly payroll and process year end T4?s.
* Process transactions such as new employees, terminations, and employee changes.
* Respond to internal and external inquiries concerning payroll, benefits, employment standards, reference letters requested, staff files, etc.
* Process group benefit applications and assist employees with submitting claims.
* Collect and screen resumes, coordinate interviews and conduct new hire orientations.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications*
_*Education & Experience:*_
* Two years of administration experience in a busy office environment
* Basic accounting knowledge (debits/credits)
* Experience processing Payroll and related administration
* Experience with the HR recruitment process an asset
* Payroll or HR related post-secondary education an asset
* Experience in the manufacturing industry an asset
_*Skills:*_
* Positive attitude and professional demeanor
* Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
* Ability to handle interruptions
* Highly detail-oriented and accurate
* Highly organized, with ability to prioritize and work to deadlines
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
* Proficient with computerized payroll systems; knowledge of Payworks an asset
* Excellent computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
* General knowledge of various employment laws and practices preferred
* Effective oral and written English communication skills
