Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair. Tasks: Repair and service interior prefabricated products. Document and prepare invoices and work orders. Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies. Install, repair and service interior or exterior prefabricated products. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Instruct apprentices. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Large workload. Personal suitability: Accurate. Reliability. Team player.
