Tasks: Promote conference and meeting services or special events. Co-ordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities and attend to related details. Co-ordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems and other details for special events. Set up and monitor, or arrange for the setting up and monitoring of multi-media equipment. Plan schedules, goals and objectives. Research and design special events programs. Plan for social events and guest programs. Manage Event Logistics. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Student status: Full time enrollment. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS PowerPoint. MS Word. MS Windows. Social Media. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Personal suitability: Accurate. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication.
