Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment. Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. Provide problem-solving services to network users. Perform routine network start up and close down and maintain control records. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for persons with disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities. Support for newcomers and refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers . Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers .- LocationSurrey, BC
