This is Kamloops! Let?s make Kamloops shine! Join our team today.Position OverviewThe Community and Culture Department is seeking a Coordinator. In this exciting opportunity, you will oversee a team of Customer Service Representatives, supporting them in engaging with members of the public. This role will also gather and analyze information from a variety of internal and external sources for projects, tasks or initiatives and produce reports summarizing the information.The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:Completion of a post-secondary Degree in Business/Office Administration, Sport/event Management, tourism, or a related discipline. Proficient in basic Word and basic Excel, as demonstrated through testing. A 70% pass rate is required. Minimum two years previous?, experience providing customer service, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and working with electronic applications and software programs. Completion of formal training in minute taking (i.e. Eli Mina or equivalent). For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check. A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position. This is a CUPE local 900 position.
