Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs. Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards. Recruit and hire staff. Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks. Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility. Area of work experience: Manager.
