Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. or equivalent experience. Asset languages: Mandarin. Cantonese. Tasks: Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions. Assist in surgery and other medical procedures. Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families. Conduct disease screening. Deliver immunization programs. Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment. Participate in community needs assessment and program development. Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice. Provide nursing care. Provide supportive counselling and life skills programming. Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.- LocationScarborough, ON
