Record shortages and reject damaged goods. Route goods to appropriate storage areas. Pack goods to be shipped. Unpack goods received. Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments. Oversee loading and unloading of goods. Maintain records on inventory control system. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS Word. Equipment and machinery experience: Dollies and hand trucks. Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Screening questions: Are you currently a student?.
