Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Determine method of shipment. Schedule transportation conveyances. Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents. Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents. Maintain internal record-keeping system. Record shortages and reject damaged goods. Pack goods to be shipped. Unpack goods received. Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments. Oversee loading and unloading of goods. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS Word. MS Windows. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Equipment and machinery experience: Dollies and hand trucks. Hoists or winches. Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
