Education: Bachelor's degree. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors. Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements. Plan and manage budgets. Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions. Prepare reports. Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Supervision: 3-4 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Judgement. Organized.
