White Rapids Manor, a 40-bed nursing home in Fredericton Junction, NB, is looking for part-time Resident Attendants to join our team. We have temporary vacant positions that include day and evening shifts. Our vision is that every person, every day achieves their full potential.The Resident Attendant is part of an interdisciplinary team and is responsible for assisting with the delivery of resident care. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the Resident Attendant (RA) promotes residents' self-care and appropriately assists with their activities of daily living. The RA documents resident care, identifying and reporting pertinent information to the Registered Nurse. Performs other duties, as assigned.Qualifications:· High School graduation plus a patient care program/course from a recognized institution.· Ability to perform the duties of the position.· Demonstrated skills working with geriatric clients an asset.· Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.· Good work record and ability to attend work on a regular basis.· Written and spoken competence in English required.· Basic computer skills.· Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.If you have a dedication and compassion for working with seniors, we would love to meet you!White Rapids Manor is a unionized environment that offers full benefits.- LocationFredericton, NB
