Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Group home. Tasks: Housekeeping activities. Food preparation. Implement behaviour management programs. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate. Medication Administration Certificate. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Target audience: Persons with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Persons with an intellectual disability. Persons with learning disabilities. Persons with mental health disabilities. Persons with physical disabilities. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Travel expenses paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding.
