Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work setting: On-site customer service. Various locations. Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts. Diagnose faults, using testing devices. Read and interpret blueprints. Repair electrical appliances and components. Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Appliance Repair Trade Certification. Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B. HVAC Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Air conditioning system. Large household appliances. Small appliances. Security and safety: Bondable. Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle. Vehicle supplied by employer.
