Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Dusty. Work setting: Residential. Urban area. Tasks: Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster. Clean and prepare surfaces. Cure freshly plastered surfaces. Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency. Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim. Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry. Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination. Manual dexterity. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Dependability. Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
