We seek a part-time pharmacy technician to join our team in Metro Vancouver, which may lead to a full-time position. *Responsibilities* * Provide proactive and friendly interactions internally and externally * Provide accurate preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, blisterpacks, compounds * Perform technical checks on prescriptions * Counsel on medical devices and perform vaccinations * Handle prescription transfers and verbal orders * Handle inquiries and refer to a pharmacist as necessary * Operate cash register and complete customer pickups * Ensure stock levels are adequate to meet patients? needs * Complete and maintain certifications for the role *Qualifications* * Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of BC and in good standing * Prior community pharmacy or Kroll experience is an asset * Ability to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an asset * Ability to perform injections *Why Join Us* * Great Community Neighborhood * Great Hours: No Sundays, No statutory holidays, No night shifts * Family-operated Canadian business * Adequate staffing * Competitive Pay * Reimbursement for License, Insurance Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: From $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 ? 32 per week Flexible Language Requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * pharmacy: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Pharmacy Technician License CPBC (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-05-06- LocationVancouver, BC
