*Role:*
The Project Manager is responsible for assigned projects, both Capital Equipment and Service Projects, from project initiation through to project close-out, ensuring delivered products and services meet budget, timing and technical requirements.
*Main Responsibilities:*
* Be the central point of contact for project coordination and communications between Customers, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Product Support.
* Assist sales and service teams with developing project scopes, charters, and budgets
* Develop, in conjunction with department managers, project plans and internal/external resource plans.
* Facilitate negotiation of technical requirements between engineering and customers.
* Assist sales team with monitoring projects for scope changes.
* Monitor project progress to ensure a successful delivery, including:
* oIdentifying potential risks and corresponding mitigation plans.
* oReacting to project challenges by developing containment plans that eliminate or minimize impacts to projects.
* oEnsure necessary information flow between departments to successfully meet project milestones.
* Lead project meetings, design reviews, and customer meetings.
* Assist with procurement of project related materials as required.
* Maintain Quality System requirements and review/manage product quality documents.
* Provide status reports to internal stakeholders and external customers.
* Complete project close-out activities, including: archiving of project data, facilitating post-build and lessons learned reviews, reconciling material lists and parts.
* Identify opportunities for improvement to company systems and processes to improve successful delivery of future projects.
*Requirements:*
* Mechanical engineering degree or AScTTBC diploma is required.
* Project Management certification or the equivalent experience is required.
* Ability to manage 2 or more projects concurrently is required.
* Ability to manage ?Design/Procure/Assemble? projects and ?Phased Product Development Programs? is preferred.
* Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
* Excellent planning, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills are required.
* 5+ years of mechanical design experience is preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in a service setting is preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to delivery projects on-time and on-budget in a Matrix organizational setting is required.
* Experience with product certification is considered an asset.

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
