Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Tasks: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Dust furniture. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Make beds and change sheets. Distribute clean towels and toiletries. Stock linen closet. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Handle and report lost and found items. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Launder clothing and household linens. Mend clothing and linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Shop for food and household supplies. Wash windows, walls and ceilings. Clean changing rooms and showers. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
