Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. All weather conditions. Work setting: Remote location. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Residential. Private company, corporation or industry. Tasks: Build models. Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation. Plan the incorporation of landscape structures. Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements. Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, vista pruning. Read and interpret blueprints. Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products. Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes. Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios and other landscape structures. Landscaping experience: Residential projects. Commercial and/or industrial construction. Construction specialization: Automated irrigation system. Ornamental ponds, fountains and waterfalls. Stone garden walls. Irrigation and drainage. Specialization or experience: Green economy sector. Area of specialization: Landscape construction. Plant knowledge and identification. Horticulture. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity.
