Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Repair machine tools and parts. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces. Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Initiative. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees .
