Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Trip reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Flatbed. Transportation/travel experience: Short-haul. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs).
