Heavy/industrial equipment maintenance technologies, other. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Work setting: Metal product fabrication industry. Troubleshooting/diagnostic. Tasks: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products. Document work completed. Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair. Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines. Perform preventive maintenance. Operate automated or computerized control systems. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Lifting device. Micrometers. Overhead crane. Punch presses. Saws. Soldering or welding equipment. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Automated and robotic system. Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Forming. Punching. Area of specialization: Industrial robotics.
