Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Shampoo customers' hair. Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair. Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair. Apply hair extensions. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Perform receptionist duties. Hair styling techniques: Blow drying. Extensions. Hair colouring techniques: Bleach. Dyes/tints. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Reliability. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
