Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Plan and control budget and expenditures. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs. Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and collective agreements. Establish and implement policies and procedures. Train, direct and motivate staff. Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs. Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies. Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales. Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs. Manage training and development strategies. Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes. Hire, train and supervise staff. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
