Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Logistics, materials, and supply chain management. Work setting: Private sector. Warehouse. Tasks: Establish work schedules and procedures. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Prepare and submit reports. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Recruit and hire staff. Train workers in duties and policies. Conduct performance reviews. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization. Organize and maintain inventory. Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met. Check products for quality and other specifications. Arrange for shipping, receiving and storage. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. MS Office. Supervision: 3-4 people.
