Living Sky School Division welcomes your interest, please apply!<p>Summary of Position <p> This posting is for Casual Educational Assistants to fill in vacancies throughout the school year on a call-in basis. Hours of work are 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioural support as required by students and directed by teachers.Qualifications Grade 12 or equivalent education<p> Possess strong communication skills to interact with children and well-developed interpersonal skills<p> Ability to work independently and multi-task.<p> Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset <p>The Right Person will genuinely appreciate working with children and demonstrate patience, show empathy, and help make learning fun;<p> possess strong planning and organizational skills while showing initiative;<p> have excellent communication skills; and<p> be enthusiastic and thrive in a team environment. <p>Living Sky School Division is proudly located on the shared territory of Treaty 6.
