<p>Occupational Therapist<p>Chinooks Edge School Division (CESD) invites applications from qualified individuals for the position of Occupational Therapist for the south zone. The Occupational Therapist (OT) will provide effective occupational therapy services to students in our schools by working collaboratively with CESD students, families, administration, educational staff, and external agencies. Reporting to the Associate Superintendent of Student Services, the OT will support and promote the success of all students as part of multidisciplinary teams across the school division. This is a full-time 10-month temporary position for the 2024-2025 school year with guaranteed annual salary, full benefits (including a health & wellness spending account). <p>The successful candidate will have a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or Bachelors degree and at least five years related experience and be registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT). Knowledge of health issues caused by cognitive, behavioural and developmental concerns for children are required. Experience working with pre-school and school-aged population is also required. Advanced communication and collaboration skills will be considered an asset. <p>We ask that applicants prepare both a cover letter and resume, complete with the names and telephone numbers of three current work related references.
