Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AZ class license. DZ class license. Type of product: Truck. Documentation knowledge: Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Trip reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Concrete mixing. Communication systems experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Equipment and machinery experience: Conveyor. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Sitting. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills.
