Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore. Tasks: Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products. Help with scheduling and workflow. Bill third party insurers. Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams. Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products. Perform general clerical duties. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Assist health care professionals. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
