We are currently seeking two experienced Roofers to join our talented and passionate team in Yorkton on a permanent basis. Duties/Responsibilities Constructing and assembling layers of roofing from insulation to all types of flat roofing membranes; Install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings; Install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions; Work on new install, replacement of previously installed/damage, and repair of asphalt and other roofing systems; Install sheet metal flashings; and Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing safety standards and procedures and complying with company standards and industry regulations. Required Skills and Experience Completion of a trade certification program; Minimum two years experience with working knowledge of a variety of roofing systems; Demonstrate strong attention to detail; Strong listening, time-management, and communication skills; Ability to work effectively both independently and as an essential part of a team; Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and stand for extended periods of time, and safely climb ladders, scaffolding and stairwells to work at heights; Ability to work at heights for long hours; Ability to lift and carry up to 45kg (100 lbs); and Other duties as required.
