Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted. Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Mix paint, blend and match colors. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Personal suitability: Accurate. Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Reliability. Team player.
