Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Dusty. Noisy. Outdoors. Work setting: Commercial. Industrial. Residential. Urban area. Various locations. Tasks: Instruct apprentices. Supervise other workers. Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster. Clean and prepare surfaces. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound. Prepare wall and ceiling layouts. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Work under pressure. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Personal suitability: Dependability. Flexibility. Reliability. Team player.
