Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards. Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies. Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
